Charky

The Black AR-15/M4A1 model Charky

Model Description

Charky is one of GoatGuns earliest and best selling models. The diecast model is painted black and comes with about all the basic parts, arguing that the quad rail is an upgrade over the round handguard. It comes with a choice of flash hider or suppressor, an eject-able magazine with 3 brass dummy rounds, rear iron sight, and adjustable AR Stock, as well as a black display stand. The AR models have the largest list of parts available for them from GoatGuns.

An early version of the model had the US Marine Corps logo, The Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, on the right side of the mag-well. This version is rare, Anothy stated in one of the GoatGuns official YouTube channel video that he thinks there was a licensing issue that prevented them from continuing the sale of this version.

Besides the model with the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor logo, GoatGuns released two more completed Charky models with engravings, but these are not available to just anyone. After reaching out to various non-profits offering to donate their models to them and being rejected continually, they decided to give out their own care packages with a special star emblem on it. The emblem is the Invasion Star, an encircled solid five-point star that was on American armored units. The other completed model was from October 2022 for a Marine Ball, Sarge was invited out to the base in Mokapu Hawaii, and he brought 300 Charky models with the base insignia on the receivers to give out to the Marines.

While technically not Charky models there was a period when you could order Black AR-15/M4A1 upper and lower receivers with images engraved on the magazine well. We have seen an American flag, a Cross, the Snake from the Gadsden flag, a Nautical Star, the Punisher Skull, and Sarge. GoatGuns no longer offers these but occasionally they will pop up second hand.
