P90 (Black)
Model Description
Leading up to the model's launch, a teaser of just the stand in the GoatGuns Addicts Facebook group, had the fans guessing. It was shortly after when during a Live discussion Anthony teased the butt pad, confirming the P90 for many. We're not sure if it was brough on by how many were calling for it, or in the team over at GoatGuns wanted to try something new, but on June 13th, 2024, GoatGuns put the production model, used to take the product page photos, up for auction on eBay. All that was included was the model, its stand and the three dummy rounds, but that didn't stop the true fans. Five days later, on June 18th, 2024, the model sold for over three hundred dollars, but we did not get the exact price.
It was in a live stream after the eBay sale that it was pointed out this model is unique. The upper receiver on the eBay model has an integrated sight with a Picatinny rail running down either side, the version that will be available to everyone else has a Picatinny rail on top with a very tiny picatinny rail on either side. While Anthony said there is a chance the unique receiver may be available as a part at some point down the line, he didn't know for sure. When the package arrived, the new owner was also surprised with an additional Dealer Exclusive AK-12 (Jack's Premium Meat) and a handwritten note reading “Hey Robert, you are a true GOAT! Enjoy the First P90 in the world. Also included a new store exclusive. Thanks for rockin', you make Sarge proud. -GG team- “
The model that the rest of us can buy is all black apart from the translucent magazine with thirty-eight brass painted dummy rounds on display, these rounds are display only the three dummy rounds that load into the magazine just go straight up into the back end of it, no functional spiral feed ramp. The plastic body feels solid, there is no give or creak anywhere that we were able to find in the construction. This model does have a unique feature we haven't seen on any previous GoatGuns models, the safety is fully functional. With the safety all the way to the left the trigger will not pull at all, with it all the way to the right the trigger will pull halfway, and in the center, you will get full trigger pull. This makes sense since the P90 is supposed to have a dual stage trigger where even if it is set to full auto a partial trigger pull will fire as a semiautomatic. We do however believe the semi and full positions are reversed, on the real thing the center position is supposed to be semi-automatic and all the way to the right should be full, though this is a minor detail that we don't think the average person would notice.
This model also breaks down similarly to the real thing, once the magazine is removed you can press a button on the top to remove the upper receiver, the bolt will then slide out, it can only be installed one way. There is also a release button on the bottom just beneath the butt plate that will give you access to the fire control group. The only thing is the fire control group on this model doesn't seem to be as easily removed as the real thing since it is screwed in place. The last feature of this model is the shell ejection that drops the round straight out the bottom this may just be one of their best products to date.
