RC-P90

The black and P90 model

Model Description

Many GoatGun collectors have fond memories of playing split screen Goldeneye with their friends and/or siblings back in the heyday of the N64, some even dusting it off to play it again years later. We knew as soon as we held the black P90 in our hands we wanted the Goldeneye RC-P90, and with the existence of GoatGuns coming from Mr. Lunt's desire to make video game guns tangible, this model should have been obvious.

For the observant addicts the announcement of the RC-P90 model was not a surprise, shortly after the Black P90 started ending up in the customers hands, one addict asked if anyone would be willing to recreate the Goldeneye RC-P90. The post was quickly responded to by one GoatGuns team member that it should be out in the first quarter of 2025, something the founder Brad Lunt confirmed shortly after that. While we can't confirm this, we suspect that team member was then spoken with about leaking upcoming model plans… We assume this solely based off how Anthony acts whenever he drops subtle hints.

This model uses all the same parts as the black P90, but the bottom grip area up to the line running straight down the body in line with the barrel, and as far back as the second body line coming out from the previously mentioned line straight down from the back of the magazine release, this area has been UV painted to resemble wood grain. Unfortunately, one downside of the UV painting process in those areas the laser can't hit doesn't get painted leaving several edges with a black color breaking up the wood design. The other key difference between the two models is the magazine on this one is an opaque white with six sections one three parallel black lines running down its length on either side. Where the supports for the top rail that wrap around the magazine sit, the lines are not present, which looks odd when the mag is off but completely unnoticeable when it is in place. We also didn't open the magazine to see if they bothered to include the dummy rounds that were present in the translucent mag.

This model also breaks down similarly to the real thing, once the magazine is removed you can press a button on the top to remove the upper receiver, the bolt will then slide out, it can only be installed one way. There is also a release button on the bottom just beneath the butt plate that will give you access to the fire control group. The only thing is the fire control group on this model doesn't seem to be as easily removed as the real thing since it is screwed in place. The last feature of this model is the shell ejection that drops the round straight out the bottom this may just be one of their best products to date.
