Red Team (SVD)

Model Description

The sales pitch reads, "Let Sarge take you back to how it all started. In 2018, with the dream of bringing FPS gun 'skins' to life, GoatGuns made the first 4 limited editions. One of them was AK47 Redteam. Flashy red against carbon fiber parts and unique packaging, this one became a fan favorite and has been the most asked for OG GoatGun. To keep the original a rarity, we did the same design but with our SVD. We remade the packaging to reflect the OG Redteam packaging."

The paint for this version of Red Team is very similar to the older AK-47 model, the flash hider, front sight, barrel, gas block, dust cover, receiver, and magazine are all a metallic cherry red color. This red is very close to the original Red Team model, though the original red color is more chrome in appearance than the SVD. Something of note is this red paint can easily chip so it is recommended that you set this model up for display and don't play with it too much.

The carbon fiber hydro-dip print on the SVD has a clear visual improvement over the original AK, where the old designs look like silvery gray and black checkerboard pattern, the SVD looks like interwoven carbon fibers. This print is on the handguard, optic with mounting bracket, and stock. Lastly, the bipod, front iron sight, bolt, selector, mag release, trigger, palm pad, and butt pad are all black in color. As they stated in their pitch, the box it comes in is designed to resemble early packaging designs with a similar color scheme to the original AK box art.
