Mobster

Model Description

This models' name is a little ambiguous, the product page has it as the TSMG Mobster Limited Edition, and the infographic for it also described it as “Mobster”, but beneath the graphic the very next line shows “About out model nicknamed 'Manfioso'”. This led to at least one person asking if they misspelled Mafioso. With these pressing uncertainties, we decided to use a lifeline and poll the audience. With seventy-eight percent in favor of Mobster, and Manfioso and Mafioso each getting eleven percent we had our answer, and the reason we list it under Mobster.

Mobster is the first limited edition TSMG model and the first one that isn't black metal and faux wood grain furniture. This is also the first model that we noticed is a blend of three different paint styles. The barrel, upper receiver, and lower receiver are all metallic gold while the rear sight, bolt, magazine release, trigger, front and rear sling mounting points, and butt pad are all black. The handguard, grip, and stock are also black, but they have been hydro dipped into a gold paisley pattern giving each model a unique appearance since no two will be exactly the same. The magazine is also black, but this one has True and Tried UV printed on either side, both reading from the bottom up. The stand is also a metallic gold color resembling a gold bar.

While the UV printing on the magazine did raise the price, it was only five dollars more than the standard model making this one easily the cheapest limited edition to drop in the late 2024 limited edition line up. This was originally a timed release only being available for about two weeks but was re-relisted not long after to clear out their inventory.
